The music of Bob Crewe

I wonder i anyone here can give me any information about Bob Crewe. My first introduction to his extraordinary melodic and huge music was the Barbarella soundtrack, which I think is beautifully arranged and produced and has some lovely songs as well as experimental sounds. I then later discovered he had written "the Sun Ain't Gonnna Shine anymore" and songs for the Four Seasons and also "I can't take my eyes off you ". I mean these somgs alone make him ome of the sixties most interesting characters but theres very little information. What else did he write-any other soundtracks? Did he colaborate with Spector or Holland/Dozier /Holland other great writeers. I'm really intrigued as i love this big swoooning ambitious sound. Any help happily recieved!

Try The DynoVoice Story compilation - great! One of his biggest hits was the Toys' Lovers' Concerto

Crewe also produced all of Mitch Ryder and the Detroit Wheels' big hits - 'Devil With A Blue Dress' and 'Good Golly Miss Molly' etc. - before they fell out w/ each other big time (Ryder then hooked up w/ MC5 manager John Sinclair, who unconvingly tried to turn Mitch from proto-Springsteen blue collar hero into dopesex revolutionary. )
