Some of R. Kelly's "I Wish" has always bugged me for having some pretty clumsy lyrics.
"Rolling through the hoodJust wanted to say what's upAnd let you know your baby boyAin't doing so tough".
Guess he wanted to say "doing so well" but had to rhyme with "up". Google search for "doing so tough" generally only turns these lyrics up.
"You all don't see the inside of my unhappiness"
This doesn't even make sense. Unhappiness IS the internalized feeling, he is trying to say that nobody realizes he's unhappy inside, but fucked up the wording.
"That's why you hear me shooting this real shit off like a gun" -- really pathetic simile.
Good song but the lyrics always bothered me.
