Facial Hair Faux Pas!

Since we're discussing ridiculous crap today like rockism and the like, I thought I'd dive in with an equally silly thread. A friend of mine recently asserted (after reading an interview with Dave Grohl of all people) that "facial hair isn't Punk Rock" (oblivious to the fact that Grohl himself has sported facial hair at several points along the way. Despite the obvious stupidity of the topic itself, I can name a few credible Punks who've sported facial hair along the way, and maintain that it means nothing in terms of "Punk" cred. Discuss....

facial hair is BAD, BAD, BAD. beards look good on some people, but I don't think I've ever seen a rock star who was the better for having one. mustaches without beards are the worst! the only people who look good with those are old movie stars and aviators from the 1930s.
