RM's "resident wacko" was a good bit more talented than the `Preachers' one as well.

Roxy Music were simply a thousand times more versatile and accomplished than the Manic Street Preachers...thus they win.

Never understood the Roxy fetish but the Preachers are unforgiveable, unimaginative, rehashed, derivative, pseudo-intellectual, name dropping, fat, rich and Welsh, teen-angst security blankets.
