The breakout album. Not quite as solid sonically as King, but lyrically superior (IMO), plus we done the King Poll.

possibly the best rap album of the 2000s?

tinie tempurah (lex pretend), Sunday, 22 January 2012 09:09 (thirteen years ago)

Gukbe a lady tonight (some dude), Sunday, 22 January 2012 11:59 (thirteen years ago)

Tim F, Sunday, 22 January 2012 11:59 (thirteen years ago)

i can't really think of any way this is better tan king

tinie tempurah (lex pretend), Sunday, 22 January 2012 12:01 (thirteen years ago)

it's on the same plateau of quality but its appeal is somewhat different so inevitably some people will prefer it

Gukbe a lady tonight (some dude), Sunday, 22 January 2012 12:06 (thirteen years ago)

Lyrically, I think he's in better shape on Trap Muzik. Overall, I prefer King.

King has more of his 'banger' type joints like "Top Back", "King Back", so I often find myself switchign depending on what I'm in the mood for.

King has one of the best intro 4 bars in the history of rap though:

I welcome you and get acquainted with the youngest in charge
Respected from East to West like he was running the mob
Dictating, ain't taking orders from no one but God
I know you niggaz is broke 'cause I know what you charge

Neanderthal, Sunday, 22 January 2012 15:05 (thirteen years ago)

I'm a weirdo who prefers Urban Legend, but that's the album I got into him through.

The Reverend, Sunday, 22 January 2012 22:06 (thirteen years ago)

UL is great

Neanderthal, Sunday, 22 January 2012 22:41 (thirteen years ago)

UL is dope outside of the Nelly type cameo tracks
