What do you think of the new TELESCOPES album "Third Wave"???

Unlike the self-titled lp on Creation Records, this one is NOT poppy or catchy at all. There aren't any hooks to the songs.. and there are like 3 or 4 instrumentals. There's tons of space bleeps and vocoder effects. Instead of serene titles like "to the shore", "Splashdown" and "The Pressence of your grace", the new lp has songs like "Tesla Death Ray", "When Nemo Sank the Nautalis" and "My name is Zardak".

I do like it. The last song is amazing but the UNISEX album is more catchy and more structured. The new TELESCOPES album is more like a jam session in outer space.

I hope to give this a listen in the next couple of days. I am encouraged by the fact that they seem to have avoided simply recreating their past, by all accounts!
