seriously i'm surprised there isn't more talk about these guys in the wake of the Load records release.
Just amazing stuff. I prefer their stumbling deconstructo jazz-rock to the wailing hardcore/noise, but it's all very, very good.

I should listen to this more, I almost never do but when you play it loud it splats you against the other wall. That chick is fucking scary.

still never heard Transmission. The math says it's the greatest of all bands, but people never talk about them

memory serves it was missable "rock" music w/o conceptual punch of their other acts

but that 7" based on Hoyos' computer programs was alright

new record is very nice. My favorite track is most likely the Lightnin' Hopkins cover. and that video is staggering.

I've got a digital copy of the Transmission album. I like it, Lambkin's guitar-playing is quite erratic and junky. Adris is more restrained then I'd like, but it's a nice listen

anyone else see orcutt yesterday at the MCA? he said he was "learning how to play songs" and then checked his phone and lamented that he had only been playing for 20 min. i enjoyed the performance. he sweated a lot and seemed to be leaking energy out of his left foot because i don't think it stopped moving the entire 45 min he was on stage.

we were vacated from the performance space to make room for the throng of fashion enthusiasts there to see the sartorialist.
