I don't recall ever being sick of "Itchycoo Park"; I think it probably even out "Happy Together"s "Happy Together," if you know what I mean.

Lazy Sunday. Always thought he was saying "...they've got no room for rapers." Thought that was weird.

You are in a maze of twisty little passages, all alike. (hugo), Saturday, 7 August 2010 22:58 (fifteen years ago)

Missed this too. Would have voted "Itchycoo" probably. Although "My Minds Eye" is great too.

Fig On A Plate Cart (Alex in SF), Thursday, 12 August 2010 23:11 (fifteen years ago)

Would have voted "Universal", but then that's just me (and one other)

Mark G, Friday, 13 August 2010 10:50 (fifteen years ago)

Voted "Itchycoo" but every time I hear "All or Nothing" it blows my mind that it was recorded in 1966

tom d: he did what he had to do now he is dead (Tom D.), Friday, 13 August 2010 10:53 (fifteen years ago)

^ Why I voted for it.

Hey Jabulani! Pope of four four two. (aldo), Friday, 13 August 2010 14:05 (fifteen years ago)

thirteen years pass...

"Tin Soldier", but if they had managed to release "Autumn Stone" as a final single, it would have been in contention.

"All or Nothing" is the only one of these singles that does, er, nothing for me. Neither the energy of the early songs nor the interesting songwriting of the later ones. The live version from 1968 is noisier and a little better.

Halfway there but for you, Sunday, 8 October 2023 18:35 (two years ago)
