(I'd rather shove a baseball bat down my throat and out of my ass than listen to this, so I'm going by song titles alone here.)

also voted that one.

The others are relatively unappalling for sufjan titles.

Ground Zero Mostel (Hurting 2), Friday, 20 August 2010 21:10 (fifteen years ago)

voting for gabriel because my friend with the same name wouldn't like that song

little-known fact: all the photos on this album cover are actually of sufjan stevens himself

Wondering if Yes faced such collective venom when they recorded "I've Seen All Good People".

henry s, Thursday, 26 August 2010 01:25 (fifteen years ago)

I've seen all good people turn their heads each day so satisfied we cry in our van

TS: worse recurring thread? indie rock disciple ilxor's cynical "worst"-themed indie rock polls vs bee ok's every indie album gets its own thread that gets three total posts threads

J0rdan S., Friday, 27 August 2010 04:44 (fifteen years ago)

to defend mine a little bit. i like to keep things moving. sometimes it works and most times it doesn't. i know this, often think i should pull back and than Black Mountain comes...i also like hearing from bands fan-bases, however small it may be on ILM.

Bee OK, Friday, 27 August 2010 05:19 (fifteen years ago)

also our rolling indie thread, for whatever reason, doesn't work on ILM very well...

Bee OK, Friday, 27 August 2010 05:21 (fifteen years ago)

yeah dude, but it's always a pasted write-up and tracklist that anyone cld get like, absolutely anywhere else.

bear, bear, bear, Friday, 27 August 2010 05:24 (fifteen years ago)

i know that

Bee OK, Friday, 27 August 2010 05:25 (fifteen years ago)

i'm sort of just joshing about your threads, bee ok -- they don't really bother me all that much & and i often post in them if i'm interested in the record

J0rdan S., Friday, 27 August 2010 05:26 (fifteen years ago)

how are these song titles any different than what you see on like 40% of indie records in any given year

J0rdan S., Friday, 27 August 2010 05:27 (fifteen years ago)

also, sorry Bee. I don't really care who starts threads abt what

bear, bear, bear, Friday, 27 August 2010 05:29 (fifteen years ago)

j0rdan: I think it's cuz Sufjan is kind of an 'event record' (esp. after prolonged silence), + he was previously notorious for incredibly long cutesy McSweeney's-esque song titles. also this EP has a really bad cover.
