actually, i like sufjan stevens a lot. i like cee-lo green, too! (great voice)

i like some sufjan, but i kinda feel like he's painted himself into a corner, in terms of ambition and "projects." just make an album with songs, dude.

he's lovely to look at.

i kind of agree, tyler. but he's obviously not obligated to see that project through (and, from all indications, he isn't going to try). before the illinois and michigan albums, he was a noisy electronic artist, no? so he's been willing/able to change directions and progress. he can do that again.

i hope he changes into a fanciful bird and flies away

Why is this referred to as an EP? Can someone shed some insight please?

According to the official release webpage it is an "homage to the Apocalypse, existential ennui, and Paul Simon’s 'Sounds of Silence'."
