i'm all about the late 90s revival today...

earworm, i was always slightly disappointed by their releases - electric sound of joys total turn (does he sound like john cale or what?) was great, and the Wurlitzer Jukeobox/Earworm split had that great Transparent thing song on there, as for enraptured i love the accelera deck album narcotic beats (one of the few to get the MBV meets Ed Rush thing right - although its dated a little i still like it a lot)

Earworm is the second greatest label of all time. Dom is a legend and I was desperately upset when i found out they were calling it a day.

Enraptured never impressed me all that much, although they often came out with lovely surprises (Folksongs for the Afterlife, for example).

The new Acid Mothers Temple album that is the final Earworm release is a doozy fun blast. And those double-disc comps that collected various singles and unreleased tracks = mighty fine.

The Avrocar singles are worth tracking down.

avrocar is now part of make mine music collective or i suppose they always have been. MMM is one of my favorite labels now.

I have -- got the Kinski single. Good stuff but I haven't heard anything else on the label.

the makita one is lovely, as is the workhouse one. there's a couple i've bought but am yet to hear, but the big upcoming release by the earlies should be a cracker! i was all excited about them putting out a hidden cameras 45 but apaz it's just demos of already released stuff..

The Freed Unit album "Things Are Looking Up" was a corker! Lovely 'amber' vinyl too.
