Those interested in the punk-era independent record label realignment must read these recollections by indie worker bees Steve Beeho, Ray Farrell, Joe Carducci, and Joseph Pope in New Vulgate #59.
Thoughts or related anecdotes?

Hey new vulgarian -- no need to be shy, just *say* it's your site you're linking to!

I was thinking that too.

Hahahaha (cough cough).
Too many random thoughts and anecdotes about stuff they left out. I rolled in right after the move from Berkeley. Of course they left out all the parts that don't fit the narrative they are trying to construct.
Ray Farrell is a lovely fellow, and we all owe him lots for blanketing the states with cool records, "managing" Tav Falco, getting Pell Mell onto DGC, and for me personally, providing the link to Adrian Sherwood.
Great to be thinking about all those maniacs over my morning coffee.
On an unrelated note for any geezers reading this, anyone know where Andy Dunkley is?

Oh, and, What's up Joe? I thought I saw you somewhere in Chicago once...

It was much smoother selling many hundreds of Delta 5’s “You” single on Rough Trade, because it the theme song of a San Jose teen new wave TV dance show.
