Destroy - the remix album, and I never quite got into their "Spike" album (which later became repackaged as the states release) even though it had titles like "Destruction Pancake" and "Boogie Woogie #5". It probably sounds much fresher without the experience of hearing their previous albums first.

Jess: I think the title of the song you are referring to is "Kore ga Watashi no Ikiru Michi" But what's up? Lay some $$ down to support these Japanese pop princesses. (Not that they need it...)
Anyway, Puffy is classic. More classic if you refer to as just Puffy as done in Japan. I recommend the Japanese import "The Very Best of Puffy Ami Yumi Jet Fever" which has all the great songs (except for the most recent which I don't know about anyway since I left Japan) and features the wonderful artwork of Rodney Greenblat (also responsible for set design on the Pa-Pa-Pa- Puffy TV show, airing every Wednesday night at 11 on a TV not near you.)
I caught these girls last month at Irving Plaza and a great time was had by all. Let me also give a plug to opening band Gaijin A Go Go. Hmm... bit of a dud rating to Ami though for marrying some loser pseudo glam J-rocker. Yumi's still available though, boys!
On another note, can anyone tell me about Puffy's "godfather" Andy Strummers, ex member of Jellyfish, writer of much of the Puffy material? He's playing a date in NY sometime soon. Shall I go?

Darn, after Mark's words I was getting quite excited to see a rare performace of the elusive Andy Sturmer...
