I think I had almost everything they put out at one point. You've hit a lot of the early winners already.

I've heard a bunch more of the Pelt, Roy M., Jack Rose, FSA stuff -- just didn't feel like listing it all out upthread. Everything's pretty much classic that I've heard. Any duds on this label?

Would love to hear the Skullflower VHF album (love his other stuff).

Didn't a handful more of the FSA albums come out on VHF? Further, Sally Free and Easy... and others?

I never did hear Wingtip Sloat.

Most of FSA's stuff in the US is on Drag City.

Wingtip Sloat = unusual. (A compliment.)

Then there's Rake/Doldrums, its own universe.

Cloudz is my favourite Sunroof!. And the first Vibracathedral Orchestra I ever heard was Queen of Guess, so I have a soft spot for that one.

In fact that period of Bowers' stuff was my favorite, before he got back to shrill feedback noise. The "Splat" CDr was really cool too, and sampled Judas Priest and Kermit the Frog.

The Astral Social Club stuff is gold. Need to hear Youngs/Kawabata.

Sunroof! - Cloudz is a must have but I have a real soft spot for Panzer Division Lou Reed and not just because it's the single greatest album title ever as far as I'm concerned. VHF is on some fucking quality control, even those Fern Knight records at pretty hard to dislike.

Wow, haven't seen that name( Wingtip Sloat) in ages. I saw that DC/northern Virginia band do its kinda early Pavement-inspired rock way back when, live once.

is relayer one of the all-tine ambient greats? I would say so but i’m har pressed to say why besides I never stopped going back and I always play it 2-3x consecutively when I do.

I like the other relayer a lot too.
