I have less than no desire to hear Squarepusher's version of Love Will Tear Us Apart. Stanton-Miranda and Bis have spoiled it sufficiently already. Am I alone in thinking the V/Vm hack of it is the best "cover" version of it?

Love Will Tear Us Apart is no longer exciting for anyone to hear. I hardly have any desire to hear Joy Division do it.

Remember when Orgy covered "Blue Monday?" And NIN covered "Dead Souls" ... shyeah, I'm looking forward to more modern covers of JD/NO songs...

Some Italian band called Afterhours did a version of "Shadowplay" years ago that has to rank as one of the best covers I've ever heard of any song -- slightly burnt, raspy voice, acoustic guitar, piano, slightly slower tempo. So there's always hope.
