This one caught me by suprise and totally confounded my low expectations as I was never impressed with his previous band Titus Andronicus. The title track is fucking America.

yes, miles ahead of titus andronicus, imo. his songs are wonderful and powerful in ways that that screamy guy in titus could never achieve.
