this show was seriously my jam and so little about it is known or remembered. post anything you know or remember.

According to this very long-winded blog post there are 12 episodes:

What I remember.

It replaced Headbanger's Ball in 1995. They had guest hosts Faith No More supporting King For A Day and Primus supporting Tales From The Punchbowl. I remember Les took the host to Rancho Relaxo and showed her his yellow car with crazy hydraulics.

I know they played metal, alterna-metal and hip-hop but i the only video I actually remember seeing is Faith No More's "Evidence" :/

the only video i remember seeing played on this show was thunder kiss '65 which somehow seems totally off given the timeframe yet i know this to be true.

though i guess given the mishmash of stuff described in that blog post it's not out of the realm of whatever.

generally i remember this being mtv's dump for shit that's too heavy for the increasingly pop-punkified alt-daytime-playlist and the increasingly trip-hop and britpopified 120 mins but not quite heavy enough for the dudes who woulda tuned into hbangers ball

I honestly don't think I ever tuned into the show once, but I remember the commercials rather well (I think so, at least). Hot rods and bold colors and huge 1973-style type, right?

I wouldn't have said I ever saw this, but watching that clip, the spinning crown thing came back to me immediately. The funny thing is when I first watched Diabolik I felt like it was somehow familiar. Now I know why!

Don't think I watched this, sounds good though. There was a rock show a few years later presented by a very coquettish blonde Scandanavian type that I used to catch quite a lot. MTV Europe was actually really good in the 90s.
