"Stars Forever" packaging

Good day, everyone. Just a rather banal question about the packaging of the Le Grand Magistery release of Momus' "Stars Forever".

Is it supposed to come with an outer cardboard sleeve, the way many Magistery releases do? Mine is just a plain jewel case with a barcode sticker on the back. If so, is there anything of interest on the back or edges of the sleeve? Am I missing any fascinating sleevenotes or artwork, or does it just repeat the jewel case inserts...?

Thanks

Sorry mate, it does indeed come with Le Magistery style outer cardboard sleve. I thought I could tell you not to worry, that the sleeve has nothing in addition to the jewel, as I very often do not know what the point of these sleeves are, but when I checked it is in fact different. The front of the cardboard cover is about the same, as for the back, I don't know about fasinating but there is indeed a worded message that begins: "Roll over Rembrandt, Momus reaches Old Master status with an album of pop portraits!" It then goes on to state how M. is about to go where no other artist has gone, cites Andy Warhol, David Bowie, explains the Stars Forever concept, soundchecks capitalism, and ends with the prescient statement: "Who are we trying to kid? Pop music just changed forever." If you don't have this missive on your cd, I wouldn't be surprised if it was up at the Grand Magistery website. As for artwork, there's a little something incorporating various GM releases and a paint brush. How are you enjoying your Momus?
