Song Query

Hi, This song has been bugging me for the last couple of months and it still hasn't exposed itself to this litttle brain. I can only recall the first line which is sung by a black female (i think) and the lyrics are " I don't care if its cloudy or grey". I think its sixties and has one of those very atmospheric openings with distinct background vocals and music. It could be a spectre production but not at all sure about this.I cannot get past that line and the shoopie shoop background vocals. Its a popular tune of its time and know i'll kill myself once i discover who it is. This is pretty vague but hope someone can help ease this frustration. Regards, Harry

The Flamingos did a very famous version, if not the original, and the falsetto Doo-wop vocals might have confused you as to the sex of the singer
