"Bullinamingvase" being the only album I ever lost at a party, bought in 1977 in the midst of punk, but rediscovered at Oxfam (minus Watford Gap), and it's a wonderful thing.

So, where next?

Stormcock seems to be the most revered. Have only ever heard a couple of the others, but that's the way I'd probably vote.

Like the way the changed the title of HQ to one about cricket for the US, cos that would definitely help to shift the units there.

you're missing the great live record "Flashes From The Archives Of Oblivion", which I would vote for.

Lifemask, Stormcock, Folkjokeopus are all top notch as well.

Voted for Stormcock, just seems to be Roy's most unified and beautiful alb, tho' of the ones I've heard, Lifemask, Bullinamingvase and HQ all have gd things too. He cld really do w a propert reissue series. And is it really ten years since he brought out a new alb?

But Bullinamingvase has some great songs too.

Don't know enough of his work - but 'Stormcock' is the most impressive of the 5 I have: but I think I prefer Flat, Baroque and Beserk'. and, as said, Flashes is great too

Flashes From The Archives Of Oblivion! - oh yes. (Thanx, sleeve)

I rather much like Valentine, too.

I've heard the first seven but Stormcock seems head and shoulders above the others. Flashes is great too.
