Are any New Yorkers going tomorrow? Dymaxion is opening. I think Takako is at home with the baby, too bad. If anyone has caught this tour at other locations, how is it?

I saw it in Amsterdam. It's just like listening to the records, only louder. Carefully synched to video. In other words it's about as spontaneous as a military parade. I quite enjoyed it even so.

I heart Keigo Oyamada. I concur with the above about the military parade, nice analogy, that one. Who knew Keigo was such a rocker! Dug the movie clips backdrop, especially the footage of Elivs in Blue Hawaii. I felt like I was witnessing a modern day incarnation of the Exploding Plastic Inevitable, or whatever they called themselves... I heart Hirohisa Horie too (on support on bass, day job as member of Neil & Iraiza, Escalator Records leaders of the soft rock revolution). Dymaxion was good too-- though lots different than their cd sound. Only thing missing was Takako Minekawa to make the night complete--but for the responsabilities of womanhood.

spectacular - was in the front row next to cornelius (sporting hip haircut and 'neu!' shirt) during dymaxion and then in the front center for the show next to crazy kid who got to go up and play theremin w/ confetti sprinkles - also i think i have a crush on the drummer chickie

Jeff: I was there too, in Amsterdam. He signed my albums, yay.

I will be seeing him on Wednesday also, if I can still get tickets through the record store I work at.

I generally heart Cornelius, and have done for a while. But the live show ? Like a military parade - agree totally. Devoid of spontaneity. I wou;dn't mind but other than the first four songs being from 'Point' it was a set identical in songs, performance and techie things (the Elvis in hawaii section, the audience participation, the theremin, the footy clips) to the shows I saw him do in London (and presumably that he performed everywhere else I suppose) in 1999.

So come on Keigo you lazy swine, giz us something different.
