anyway the forced/facepalmy punchlines sometimes (tho not always) work for kanye in a weird backward way -- like, he's such an incredible producer that he can keep these beats for himself and his half-assed rhymes.

Kanye West refused to continue his show on Friday night in Sydney, Australia until the entire audience was standing and dancing in physical Yeezus worship. Unfortunately for Kanye's self-esteem, one of the audience members had a prosthetic leg and another was wheel-chair bound.

idk about "cringe" but I always've thought his rhyming on "Send It Up" is kinda awkward even if some of it's quotable. Guess Ab-Liva helped with that one though

I love this line

Kanye has grown on me a lot as an MC. I think he's lyrically ambitious and perhaps a poor self-editor, so he reaches further and falls a lot, but connects a lot too.
