Why is there no good Smiths live album?

I know there is Rank and I think I have even listened to it somewhere. In any case it didn't leave a lasting memory. And according to all I read about it this album is only for hardcore fans. So why is there no real live album of one of the greatest bands of the last twenty years?

Huhm, I thought Rank was good! Certainly no worse than the boots I've heard. Aren't most live albums only for hardcore fans anyway?

Rank is eh. The most entertaining Smiths boot I've heard is the Thank Your Lucky Stars one, if only for the fascination of hearing Morrisey and Marr's very different ways of dealing with overzealous security.

There's a transcription of a BBC radio broadcast I have on tape somewhere from, maybe, 1985? Starts with "William It Was Really Nothing," I like it.

Nabisco, you should upload that somewhere. Like if there was a server for sharing mp3s, say.

Yes, indeed.

Because the Smiths were terrible live? ;) I've never heard a good live Smiths performance, for all the cash I threw away on vinyl bootlegs as a youth.

Before this thread drops of the main page, now that everyone has found the new ILM, why oh why is there no Smiths live?

Rank is worthwhile simply for the fact that it has "The Draize Train" on it.
