Pitman - keeping it surreal, Skinner - trying too hard? By trying to be "real", is he more laughable than Pitmans putdowns?

No, seriously, when it comes to taking sides between these two behemoths of "Is this rap?" British accent comedyness, Pitman piddles all over Mike "fucking" Skinner on every front possible. Talent, humour, rapping ability, disses of Brian Harvey. Pitman says a fuck of a lot more about contemporary working class youthness than that the guy w/ the funny teeth ever could.

Its an interesting thought about which one is 'realer' given that Pitman is total parody and sarcasm (his only appeal) whereas Skinner is actually attempting sincerity in his work as well as humour - but both essentially describe real life experiences albeit in slightly different ways (Pitman's jokey references to tea and biscuits, Kwik Save etc. match Roots Manuva's)
i love both acts and would love to see Skinner hit back at Pitman on his next joint...and then at least this ridiculous post might be more justified ;)
