who is ryan leslie?

Feel like we should have kept off the tracks that ended up on the album becaue, really, "Monster" is so going to walk this. Interesting to see which of the other ones would win.

Ryan Leslie is an R&B singer/producer who did Cassie's "Me & U" and had a couple solo albums with some minor hits, he has a good amount of fans on ILM.

"the joy" is an awesome track -- old school kanye imo -- altho that track does have a bad case of "oh it's jay-z! be careful walking down the stairs, jay! hey, can someone wipe jay's mouth, he's drooling again!" but what're ya gonna do

so many of these i've heard once or not at all -- feel like i should try and sit through them all and see how it goes

i feel like you could take all the verses off of those, and then just randomly assign them over the beats & no one would be able to tell the difference

ignored the album tracks, including those was really NAGL

a lot of these just kind of blend together for me, pretty obvious why he left them off the album. i voted "take one for the team" because kanye's verse is pretty funny/dumb and it's satisfying when the synth part comes in at the end. worst is "christian dior denim flow," which starts out ok but gets really clunky when the beat switches up and the guitar comes in (and no one really cares about this but it's literally one of the worst guitar tones i've ever heard on a major label album, sounds like guitar through cheap distortion pedal plugged straight into the board)

dudes, chill the f out -- the production on the album tracks is different in all cases, not to mention some missing stuff (e.g. rick ross verse on "devil" etc.), so they may as well be different songs! use yr imagination etc.

Ha i guess that song didn't end up on a major label album. Still a shitty guitar tone.
