this guy deserves his own thread. kinda the Belgian Fad Gadget? i guess known mainly for New Beat club classic 'Euroshima (Wardance)'. first two albums s/t and The Right To Die are beyond classic synth pop, the best of that early Belgian synth scene. third album Vision adds some live instruments and splits a gated snare and digital synth vibe with that classic EBM undulating sequenced bass sound. what I've heard from his last album sounds quite Synclavier heavy. he has a really cool voice, deadpan and droll, verging on croon and not afraid to break out into a scream when necessary. afaik he quit making music at the end of the 80s. sadly passed on last year
early stuff is super sick analog synth and drumbox jams

this guy is a prime candidate for the Vinyl On Demand reissue program... I'd love to get these records but they are so expensive I can't even believe it.

yeah it's frustrating that even with all the exposure this kind of music has received over the last few years the best stuff (Snowy Red, John Bender, Xex, Jeff & Jane Hudson, Shortwave Mystery) remains practically unobtainable

carol is as far as i know a mystery belgian chanteuse who recorded two songs with snowy red (see also "breakdown").
his first album and "the right to die" have recently been bootlegged.
xex and jeff and jane hudson are about to be officially reissued by dark entries.

hey everybody, I bought a brand new reissue of Right To Die yesterday!!!
I don't THINK it's a boot, but you never know. On Dirty Dancer records...?
OK I just checked and it is a boot. Well, that's what you get when you don't reissue in-demand stuff!
Loving this record, I had only heard the first one before.
