I remember my friends following guillemots career long after it was apparent they were a one hit indie wonder. I think they turned into a jam band.

The band consists of 4 members: Fyfe Dangerfield, MC Lord Magrão, Aristazabal Hawkes, Greig Stewart.

iirc kubb sounded exactly like you'd expect a band called 'kubb' in 2006 to sound.

The one good song Guillemots did (Trains To Brazil) was VERY good, the rest was completely immemorable. Cold War Kids have an album out this month. Never really liked Sway beyond his guest rhyme on Harvey Nicks and those Charlie Boy sketches.

F Your X is great but I think I prefer Hype Boys, Up Your Speed and the opening track off the first album.

corrinne has a lovely voice and is super gorgeous and i love her sound for slick pop but her songs are incredibly boring.

i thought the first guillemots album was really good. kinda epic and sprawling. the singles for the second album left me cold tho so i didn't really listen to it. seems like they wanted to be an 80s pop band or something.
