I love his Forgot About Dre verse - my bro and I fight over who gets to do it at karaoke.

Thing about Em is his first two solo albums were like candy to me...he was a bit irascible, but it was easier to forgive him when you knew he was two years removed from slumming.

His first LP you wanted to root for him, and his humor was all over the place, Marshall Mathers LP was also great but had the first "whoa, slow down there, Holmes!" moments.

Once he ditched a lot of the humor, went for a more generic flow, and ditched the humor, it was time for me to peace out...

i had the second album and could never get through it -- My Band was really the only song I liked from it.

the guests from Ems albums were tolerable because he still dominated the songs.

The Mariah and Everlast diss tracks are pretty inspired.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O_ueyefaFDI

and always liked his verse on Blow My Buzz:

An Artily Shot Sesame Street (Eazy), Monday, 31 January 2011 01:45 (fourteen years ago)

I liked the Everlast diss, always thought Everlast's reply in the press was kinda stupid. wanted to be like "lol you're Everlast, dude".

teh mariah diss was funny for the vomiting on her stomach bit.

I'll ride with Kill You, but "Stan"? song didn't have much replay value.

pf smangs (San Te), Tuesday, 1 February 2011 00:03 (fourteen years ago)

Stan is a novelty song, but I'm glad Kill You beat out Lose Yourself. That first verse...

abcfsk, Tuesday, 1 February 2011 00:10 (fourteen years ago)

i voted stan - besides the tail parts of the last 2 verses the song is incredibly moving

heard it on the radio a couple weeks ago and was surprised at how well it held up

originoo gun kl0pper (k3vin k.), Tuesday, 1 February 2011 00:45 (fourteen years ago)

'stan' was dope to me back when it dropped but i cant really listen to it any more ha. not sure id like it if it was new today either but it was ~deep shit~ at the time

*kl0p* (deej), Tuesday, 1 February 2011 00:47 (fourteen years ago)

i really liked how that album as well as 2001 brought RBX back into the fold for a short minute.

pf smangs (San Te), Tuesday, 1 February 2011 00:48 (fourteen years ago)
