OK, these are the rules.

1. THE SONG DOES NOT TAKE UP ALL OF ONE SIDE OF THE ALBUM. (That's a different thing)

2. track is at least double the length of the next longest song on the album.

3. Can either conclude side 1 or side 2. Or even have something short after it, it's up to youse.

yeah, it's a lock-groove, but it's much clumsier than the CD version's loooooooong groove. i wish theyd spent a little more care in perfecting the LP press. or just made it a double LP with that song on both sides of the second record.

The 22 and a half minute "Untitled" at the end of Queen's "Made In Heaven".

The 22 minute length of Track 13 echoes the 22 year gap between the release of 'Made in Heaven' and Queen, the band's first album, with key moments in the time-span (such as Freddie Mercury's death in 1991 (18:00)) being echoed with more dramatic and eerie notes than earlier minutes in the piece. At the end following a cymbal build-up, a sound resembling a cartoonish spaceship is heard, which could be signalling that Mercury has left the planet as all of his vocals have been used up. Finally, at the end of the "Untitled" Track 13, a voice is heard (likely Freddie's) saying 'Fab!'

OK, an interesting idea, give them that...

June Tabor - "Across The Wide Ocean" - last track on her new album Ashore, nearly 12 minutes long. Mild infringement of rule #2, as one other track on the album is slightly over 6 minutes long.
