15. Neil Young, Time Fades Away
What about the first two Kraftwerk albums? Not in the recent reissues = disowned?
― ban this sick stunt (anagram), Friday, 11 February 2011 16:47 (fourteen years ago)
Last I heard, was in the process of being re-owned.
Not the "Org" one tho.

Albums that the bands who made them disown (and the people who love them anyway)

Hey, I looked. But I like this thread better.
x-post Dunno if Neil has outright disowned that album. It's sort of in limbo, like the Buckingham-Nicks disc.
― Josh in Chicago, Friday, 11 February 2011 16:51 (fourteen years ago)
young went so far as to create an HDCD release and then canned it, if he hasn't disowned it then he's at the least actively suppressing it, thank god it leaked

was kinda surprised rob zombie rereleased psycho-head blowout and soul-crusher on that boxset, they didn't get reissued even at the height of white zombie's popularity

Robyn Hitchcock almost but not quite disowns "Groovy Decay/Decoy" - no physical reissue but did get a digital one. He's always hated it.
Has Jaz Coleman officially disowned "Outside The Gate"?

Mark Lanegan thinks the first few Screaming Trees records sucked. weirdly, their very first LP (Clairvoyance) really does suck, and it's the only one of their SST releases to have been reissued in the past 20 years.
