Gang Gang Dance new stuff, Gang Gang Dance generally

Was only able to find Gang Gang Dance on the noise board, so I'll copy what I said there:

What does everyone think about Glass Jar?

Starts out almost frustrating to me, interesting placement of sounds, unique arpeggiating synthesizer recorder pristinely but perhaps too high in the mix, some basic tribal drumming with heavy reverb but it meanders, occasionally starting in on some half assed one note synth line. But about 2 or 3 minutes in it finally takes some shape with kind of a Section 25 Looking From a Hilltop vibe but with new equipment and probably better apartments.

I like the vocals.

Was listening to St Dymphna a few weeks back. It feels even more relevant now than in 08-09. Part of this is the surge in popularity of dubstep in the US and the sudden return of MBV making news,but it feelz really prescient. I kinda feel that it has yet to reach its peak as far as reach or w/e

I'm surprised there isn't more (any?) talk of Brian Degraw's new album under the name bEEdEEgEE. The album's really good, though p different from GGD. Anyone?

ya it's a cool album. Or at least it has a lot of cool moments. He had a lot of ideas and by jove he went all out on using them all, maybe after a few more listens I'll have a better grasp of it all or maybe it'll remain a lovely mess.
