Silver Medal, Black Metal Category: Sweden vs. Finland

Anybody who says Norway doesn't get the gold is posing, but who's in 2nd place: Sweden, who, since they have Bathory, can claim something like primacy, or Finland, which has enough weird, awesome black metal bands to populate Wyoming?

Sweden is so immense in the history of metal that it's hard to vote against it but especially over the last 10 years it really feels like little tiny Finnish labels & bands are the ones who really get it. Basically if I see that an underground release is from Finland, that's a probable mark of quality for me right now

xp yeah that is true too! for me, that stuff is good, sometimes I get into it...but the main thing for me is the Bestial Burst label & everything that circles it...that's black metal in its proper form imo

These are all great. Esp. the Metal on Metal III comp, unbelievable, and the Thrashing Relics & the Irritate. But they're all worth having, I'm a huge RfR fan, got those ones on vinyl, just huge.
