well, he did a lot of stuff with Vic Chesnutt up until his death and produced a few notable albums for other bands (Blonde Redhead, Blood Brothers). but yeah, he has been relatively inactive musically. when a band goes on hiatus like that and one of the main people is doing very little new music, i kinda assume that's the guy who wasn't interested in continuing the band.

It's when I love a thing so much, my rational thinking (?) flies out of the window. I have this with Shuggie Otis and Joni M as well: I kind of expect EVERYONE SINGLE LIVING BEING to adore the music. Deep down I know it's silly but I can't help but think that way.

Fugazi strikes me as band that you can approach/love from all different angles.
