I thought about including The Pogues, but if I widened it to second-generation Irish, it'd mean including The Smiths, Oasis, etc, and the poll would have a very different slant to it.

I'm gonna justify it by noting that, just like old school rap and Italo disco, they are best appreciated in the singles format rather than being true album acts. Or with the windows down, a bottle of red lemonade in one hand and Midwest Radio 96.1 FM turned up full, that also works.
