fat possum - C or D?

There were comments on him on the Fat Possum thread.

Is it this one or a prior one that had him playing with blues-rock band? I didn't like whichever one that was, as much as his earlier Fat Possum label material. I liked live when I saw him years ago.

i saw t model ford! at the house of blues in boston, lol. he was great. after every song he'd say: "it's jack daniels time!" and do a shot. i think he was 80 at the time!

RIP. Enjoyed him when I saw him live, and liked his cds as well. He had quite a busy life

one of the greats

I saw him a few years back in Memphis and he was still playing when I finally had to leave. It must have been like 3 AM at that point. I don't think anyone ever thought of telling him to wrap it up, even though he outlasted most of us. I don't know what was fueling that old man (Jack Daniels most likely), but that show was one of the most amazing things I've ever seen. RIP.
