Yeah, I think alot of the reportage on that stuff didn't make it outside the Gulf, but if you lived here, it became most of what you knew.

This excellent book starts with the bust and then heads back to the beginning of Gold Star/Sugar Hill, with lots of stories about Meaux, International Artists, Starday and others.
