Stuff that Pandora plays on my Monks station

I thought it would be interesting to make a station for The Monks on my Pandora; I was curious how the software would decide what sounded like The Monks, one of the most unique bands around. Here is a selection, not including the smattering of actual Monks songs that it played (which is kinda cheating) and I have heard of about NONE of it (well, most of it…)! Any thoughts?

2. The Sparkles "No Friend Of Mine
3. The Riot Squad "Gotta Be A First Time"
4. The Famous Finks "Little Coffe Shop"
5. The Nicols "She Had A Name To Find Out"

The Riot Squad, Famous Finks & Non-Parells pop up a lot on my Sonics station, I think maybe "garage fuzz" must code a certain way for the Pandora dudes. Duffy is a surprise though!

hmm, this Duffy isn't Steven Duffy or (thankfully) "Rockferry" Duffy. nice freakout early '70s American psych though:

Yeah, that Duffy track is really cool. I wonder if Helios Creed ever heard it. (And now I wonder what Pandora would come up with for a Helios Creed station...)

9. Southwest F.O. "Rock 'n' Roll Woman"

This actually the Southwest F.O.B. doing a Buffalo Springfield song. They were a slick psych showband from Dallas whose members included the future England Dan and John Ford Coley.
