PROTOOLS EMERGENCY PLEASE HELP

sorry i didn't put this on i make music but i have to figure this out now and that board moves kinda slow :( :( :(

hey anyone who knows protools on the board...

ok so i really suck at it, i'm just recording a podcast, and anyway...here's the problem:

i somehow hit something that took me into a mode where the grabber tool is doing "break points" (i think this is basically like automated volume mixing in each specific track)...but now I don't know how to get out of it, and i can use the grabber tool to move tracks around!!! this sucks! how do i switch back to the regular grabber tool??

on the left side of the track it should say 'volume' click it and select waveform from the menu. if this has somehow happened to all yr tracks hold option while doing this and it'll reset all of em. been a while since i used protools so going from memory here, hth

there's probably loads of other muso types on here using the gear to ask and answer stuff on the topic - personally i use pro tools daily. i check in here now and then, and never really mind doling out techie advice on stuff i know about when i see a question pop up. i'm sure they are others around on ilm similarly inclined
