Official newish Hip Hop production gear/software thread.

I love a lot of modern hip hop, especially the production which often astounds me. However, I never hear anyone talking about gear in the same way I do with other genres, and I'm curious what a producer like say Bangladesh is using. Is it all software? Are there people making hits still using drum machines and samplers and stuff?

Any links to interviews with producers talking about their gear or videos where people explain how they're putting songs together would be much appreciated.

I remember this having a ton of in depth talk on production tools, I think even demonstrations and stuff.

That Just Blaze interview is pretty good, although I got bored and read the transcript after a while.
