it's so great that another group somehow stumbled across calling themselves "Havoc and Prodigy"
― bananas foster wallace (Whiney G. Weingarten), Wednesday, 4 May 2011 00:59 (fourteen years ago)
this really is their best song i think. the 'murder squad' record suxx in comparison to the 'all day everyday' lp imo
you know what's weird? they released a record as 'havok and prodeje' too -- its hot tho, 'crime wave' -- single here

I like the contrast between the gansgtaisms and the uplifting beats/hooks throughout the lp. I have strong feelings for the song 'Bomb' too, its lush.
I still think 'U Couldn't Deal With This' and 'Gang Stories' off N Gatz We Truss are my favorite songs of theirs.

Never have spent time w Steady B before. Any of his stuff rise above what LL was doing at the time?
― Spottie_Ottie_Dope, Wednesday, 4 May 2011 18:35 (fourteen years ago)
Not at all, his track with Shante ("Fly Shante") is a great "Rock The Bells rip.

Cant tell you how many times I played this my junior year. Still have love for Life In 1472, that Slick Rick cut 'Fresh' and that one with Keith Sweat 'Going Home with Me' are first-class as well.
