so der ship seems 2 think that 'come clean' is her best but as good as that track is theres three better - so yesterday, wake up & our lips are sealed are all tighter imo - but i was surprised by how many of these i really like...

i like with love a lot & dont think ive knowingly heard anything else

pointless anecdote: like four or five years ago a friend & i were waiting in line @ the movies and arguing the merits of various h.duffy singles & i kept trying to to remember the title of the one i liked best w/ no real success. i tried i humming a few bars of the chorus, describing the video, the basic sentiment of the song & neither my friend or i could remember what it was called. finally after abt ten or so minutes of this this really jocky guy in line in front of us turned around & in the most exasperated voice practically shouted 'ITS CALLED SO YESTERDAY SERIOUSLY' at us.

I really hate 'come clean'

'Stranger' is probz my favourite. The chorus does wonderful things to me.

come clean/wake up/beat of my heart are the godhead triptych for me, that whole sound of a still small voice caught in a storm. i like but never loved "so yesterday". the electro of her last album is good, even great in places - yeah "with love" included - but it feels like a different artist entirely. "dignity" was lol in a good way off that album.

i had completely forgotten about "fly"! it's amazing! like if evanescence weren't annoying.

I think "Come Clean" is pretty clearly the best, because the music and lyrics use her thin voice so perfectly, and the melody is great. But actually, I like all of these songs except "Little Voice" and "Someone's Watching Over Me". For a top five I'd say:

Come Clean
Fly
Play With Fire
Wake Up
So Yesterday

"Come Clean" is the only one of these that i can tolerate, she's a terrible vocalist
