Random Factor is Carl Finlow, Yorkshire-based Back to Basics favourite. Usually puts his stuff out on Ralph Lawson's 20:20 Vision label. Good shiat.

19 years on, still my all-time favourite mix. I dunno wtf that says about me tbh.

Yep this is an amazing mix - covers so much ground without feeling self-consciously eclectic, and in retrospect it feels like a skeleton key to a lot of the dance music trends that dominated in the years that followed: electroclash, punk-funk, disco revivalism, balearic etc. I could easily imagine basically the same mix being released on (say) Eskimo maybe 2 or 3 years later.
Also "The Sky Is Not Crying" forms a great emotional centre to the mix. One of my favourite house tracks.

No Communication, No Love - Charles Schillings (Salt City Orchestra Mix)
Salt City Orchestra and their remixes in particular deserve more love..

Ironically, it's actually not the Salt City mix that's on this but the superior Street Corner Symphony mix.

It's actually erroneously listed as the Salt City mix rather than the Street Corner mix on some editions of this, fwiw, so the misunderstanding is out there already.

yeah got it from the OP
agreed not their most interesting remixSex-O-Sonique “Thought It Was You” and Underworld “Cups” remixes are absolute classics though

It's great for about as long as Trevor lets it play but it is truly great for those three minutes.
