truly formative in my musical upbringing. in the '90s my high school bros and i used to chill out in the sticks over the summers and drink beer and listen to steely dan, the dead, and WAR lps. kinda overlooked by a lot of folks, for whatever reason, but they were one of the best groups of the '70s imo.
