BIG HOOS aka the steendriver, Friday, 15 July 2011 00:01 (thirteen years ago)

I put the cover art in the cover art thread. Awesome mesh of the two (style of the Fugazi cd, color of the Wu cd).

Surprised there's nothing on there using "Closed Captioned" (at least I don't think so) -- that would make a sick wu sample.

Eh, I feel like the drum programming is kind of weak sauce/amateurish.

Plus I mean if you're going to have this photo on your record

the beats need to be EXTRA tight

eh you are right and these sorts of things are never quite as good as the sum of their parts and there are always tempo/key issues that range from lovable to grating and i'm not saying it's some mindblowing must-listen but i'm sure i'll enjoy this unexpected combination of two of my favorite acts in high school (and of all time) for a week or so.

"Nowhere To Wait"

da croupier, Monday, 18 July 2011 19:54 (thirteen years ago)

Oh true. Not how I would have thought of using it, but I like that.

That's a Gravediggaz song though - don't really think of it as part of the wu-ography even though RZA is involved.

Finding workable a cappellas isn't so easy, so at least they found one Wu-related.
