"Kiss and Breathe" by Bobbybeats

i find these kind of bootlegs pretty useless personally, esp. as its pretty easy to imagine what they've done before hearing it. the fact that both elements have to be painfully strained and stretched a fair bit just to fit with each other makes the whole thing seem too laboured to enjoy...and the fact that the Sixpence vocal is only deployed at particular stages of the music mans the whole thing seems quite disjointed. this is the same flaw i found in some of Dsico's bootlegs (altho 'pointless' mixes such as 'Love Will Freak You' are better executed at least) - bootlegs done for pure novelty and the idea that 'i bet i could MAKE them fit together' rather than the concept being that the two elements SHOULD go together and are made for each other and still managed to add an extra dimension to the result AND a new perspective on the original tracks used....

maybe i'm being harsh but i get e-mailed too much stuff like this and it just feels too contrived and utterly derived of any real sense or purpose - i appreciate the idea that a breathy female vocal might work over Howlett's harsh n heavy metal beats but this didnt work for me at all

still its all good dirty fun i guess
