songs that repeat the title phrase in both the verses and the chorus

I tend to find songs that do this either lazy or kind of oppressively repetitive when you hear this one phrase over and over, and then the melody shifts gears and the drums kick in for the chorus and you keep hearing the same phrase. Like, c'mon, use other words please, some synonyms or something! But I dunno, maybe it's too common or too varied a practice to dismiss like that -- the only songs I can't think of where it doesn't annoy me, or at least I like the rest of the song too much to let it bother me, are "Where The Streets Have No Name" and "Since U Been Gone." there are probably a ton of other great songs I haven't even noticed it in, though, maybe this practice has a more dignified tradition than I want to give it credit for, but really most of the time it just irritates me.

pretty sure Husker Du's "New Day Rising" does this..

Bob Seger was pretty fond of this--"Old Time Rock And Roll," "You'll Accomp'ny Me," "Like A Rock," arguably "Against The Wind." Don't know if you'd want to call that a dignified tradition, though.

The Godfathers would do this all the time!

All of their songs I ever heard had the chorus consisting of the title repeated 4 times.

Except for "Birth School Work Death" which only repeated it twice.
