Ruban Nielson: I found it on one of those random-image sites-- it was my desktop wallpaper the whole time I was making the record. At first, I didn't know anything about it but it looked futuristic, which I like. It's a visual equivalent of what I wanted people to hear when they listened to the album.

though the album is dumb, ill rep for animal collective being kind of AWARE slash not idiots about the MPP art. it's like a funny good internet stoner joke and also sincerely suits their schtick well...
