It's be worth it for the venue alone.... but Erol and Safety Scissors are worth a listen.

safety scissors? or scissor sisters 9what it says on the site). fat truckers are toss.
the 'robot bar' aspect of the venue is pathetic apparently.
ellen alien is pretty good. but £10???? bit steep.,

i want to go, but i'm not sure if anyone else is going. and then richie hawtin is at the end, and then theres this dubious party in E8

and then next week - rephlex and d'arcangelo! but then theres jeff mills at the end, although he's supposed to be around the week after that. the w/e after than i'm in DC, then Boston after that, then NYC. aaargh, someone plan my life please!

Soulwax? The band or the two brothers? I ain't rocking my body to either.

nathalie (nathalie), Friday, 13 September 2002 16:35 (twenty-three years ago)

didn't exactly go according to plan anyway, met up with ed and suzy, but we had to go to an art party first, which was really rather strange. you know by farringdon tube? theres like these sheds, but when you go in one it goes down into a massive courtyard and then all this gallery stuff with a bar in there (yum, free booze) and a parrot.

we set off to bodyrockers (picking up A en route), and its like under one of the arches nr londond bridge station, and the queue was enormous. hmm, doesn't look like we're getting in, so taxi back up to farringdon and the art party

it was kind of like 'sex and the city' or something, but it was good though. then at 1:55 A decides to drop one of the pills we'd bought for bodyrockers. the party finishes at 2, and he drops one at 5 to 2. oh, great

so, choices are maybe we'll go to bodyrockers now, we'll probably get in, but we walk past Fabric and theres a Haywire Sessions room, with andrew weatherall. so Ed and Suzy go home and me and A go to Fabric. i'd forgotten how full of beerboys that place is, but it was a pretty good night all the same

of course, today is a ruin

'of course, today is a ruin'

Hackney = Baaad, I should have known better than to go to a house party where Judge Jules was playing - tempo tedium and evil trance trills on everything. But I did meet my old boss for the first time since our acrimonious split years ago (the one who I practically fucking lived with for years, whose parting words to me '&%$$£... in court ...&&^%%$£.. traitor' before he sikked his hardball NY lawyers on me.) It was......... an interesting evening.
