From experience: Nick Cave, Slowdive, MBV (You Made Me Realise EP) and er.... U2, but maybe I just slept with alot of indie kittens. Recently, I've stopped playing RnB or Marvin Gaye in the bedroom (makes me feel inadequate. I mean what's she thinking...??) and put a deeeeeeeeep house mix on (preferably including MRI's Amethyst Pop Stars.)
Also - Brian Ferry is very much OTM, damn it I'd sleep with someone if they put something by the king-of-smooth on. Don't you think it has something to do with the '9 and a Half Weeks' OST?
