Action Bronson - only heard 'imported goods' but he raps his ass off. v retro tho.
AraabMusik - dope producer i haven't checked for the new instrumental stuff tho
Asap Rocky - 'peso' is great but not sure yet whether this guy is much more than some cool production
Clams Casino - probably my pick here. 'i'm god' and 'motivation' are both classics imo. feel like his stuff has influenced a lot of rap coming out right now
Main Attrakionz - some really chill vibes but the only song i really bump is 'legion of doom' (is that another clams production actually? sounds like it)
Mr. Muthafuckin eXquire - haven't heard
Shabazz Palaces - i liked this but found it kinda abrasive?

mb someone already said it somewhere else but something interesting to be said here about how the internet/tumblr has created a new route into the indie consciousness/acceptability for rap on the "backpacker" side of things, only Rap Acts here distinctly in the populist gangsta- is asap rocky and i guess sgp (dont count araabmuzik even tho he makes dipset beats cuz his solo stuff is, as m@tt said, more like trip-hop/idm)
